These were a series of photos I did on two out of numerous trips to the Spiti Valley in North India. I met many a people who opened not just their doors and windows for me but also their lives and lifestyles. I learnt more about them, their hopes, desires and aspirations and possibly only a fraction of that has been captured on film in these photos.
